SMASH BASH DEMOLITION DERBY

Mark your calendar for August 16, 2025 - the Smash Bash Demolition Derby returns to Freedom Northwest Arena! Gates open at 3:30 pm, with racing and wreckage kicking off at 6:00 pm. Come early for food, drinks, and pre-show fun, then settle in for a night of high-impact action as drivers battle it out in a no-holds-barred demolition showdown. It’s loud, wild, and always a crowd favorite!
HOT AUGUST NIGHTS
August 21-23, 2025
Lewiston's Hot August Nights, launched in 1987, started as a music event and grew into a popular classic car show. The event now includes over 300 cars from across the U.S. and raises funds for local non-profits. Downtown Lewiston is transformed for the weekend, with a preview at Rogers Toyota on Thursday, a car cruise Friday, and the car show and awards ceremony on Saturday. It’s a beloved summer tradition celebrating community and classic cars.
THUNDER ON THE SNAKE
August 29-31, 2025
The Thunder on the Snake Jet River Marathon, takes place on the scenic Snake River in Hells Canyon. This thrilling race brings jet boat teams from around the country to compete in a high-speed marathon through one of the most rugged and beautiful landscapes in the U.S. Spectators can expect intense action as the boats race along the river, making it a must-see event for adrenaline seekers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.​
